This week’s top issues:

- Responded to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) on the IMF proposal ‘A fair and substantial contribution by the financial sector’
- Held a compliance forum in Glasgow
- Written to the new transport minister encouraging support for continuous insurance enforcement
- Held its board meeting to discuss member issues
- Held discussions with Law Commission on specific aspects of insurance contract law relating to brokers’ liability for premiums
- Met with the Serious Organised Crime Agency
